Yementallyrama nasheri

Yementallyrama nasheri, a representative of the monotypic genus Yementallyrama (tribe Oemini Lacordaire, 1868), was described from Yemen by Karl Adlbauer in 2007. The type series specimens were reared from Vachellia sp. (= Acacia sp.) branches found by Martin Rejzek, Karl Adlbauer, Petr Kabátek and Stanislav Kadlec in several localities in Yemen [❖].

The depicted specimens were reared from larvae found in Vachellia branches collected in Hamout village evirons (N16°42′39″ E53°09′13″; 1100 m a.s.l., 10 km NWW of Dhalgut, Jebel Al-Qamar range, Dhofar Governorate, Oman) on September 21, 2011.
