Tetrops (Mimosophronica) bicoloricornis ferganensis, interesting small Cerambycid developing in dying twigs of trees from Rosaceae family, was decribed by Mikhail Danilevsky from Arslanbob (Kyrgyzstan) environs in 2018 [❖].

Body length:3.9 - 6.1 mm
Life cycle:1 year
Adults in:May-June
Host plant:Rosaceae - Prunus, Malus, Amelanchier
Distribution:Kyrgyzstan (Fergana Range), probably Uzbekistan


Depicted beetle was reared from larva found in Arslanbob (Арстанбаб; Fergana Range, Bazar-Korgon district, Jalal-Abad region, West Kyrgyzstan) in 2017.
