Pogonocherus anatolicus, a species known from Turkey, Syria and Cyprus, has been described from Adalia environs (Turkey) by Karl Daniel and Josef Daniel in 1898 [▽].
This rare species develops in recently dead twigs and branches of a variety of pine (Pinus spp.) tree species.
