Semiangusta katarinae, very rare endemic Eastern Anatolian species, has been described by Carolus Holzschuh from Buğlan Geçidi pass in 1974 [❖] without mention of the species' host plant. Gianfranco Sama et al. reported possible host plant as an unidentified Lamiaceae (very likely Scutellaria sp.) in 2012 [✧].
