Specimens of Phytoecia (Helladia) imperialis were collected on the host plant, Centaurea imperialis, in depicted pastures-meadows in Sīroo (سرو) environs (1900-2000 m a.s.l., Sumay-ye Beradust district, Urmia county, Āzarbāyjān-e Gharbī province, NW Iran) on May 30-31, 2017.
