Paracorymbia pallens, a common anthophilous species occuring in the Balcan Peninsula, has been described from Peloponnese (Greece) as Leptura pallens by Auguste Gaspard Brullé in 1832 [▽].

Body length:7 - 14 mm
Life cycle:2 years
Adults in:May - July
Host plant:probably polyphagous in deciduous trees
Distribution:Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia


The depicted beetle was collected on flowers in Panagitsa (Παναγίτσα) environs (Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece) on May 26, 2021.
