Micromallosia heydeni, a rare species endemic to Turkey, has been described from Malatia environs as Phytoecia (Coptosia) Heydeni by Ludwig Ganglbauer in 1888 [❖].

The depicted beetles were found on the ground in low vegetation in summit plateaus of Nemrut Dağı Mt. (1700-1900 m a.s.l., Kâhta district, Adiyaman province, Anatolia, Turkey) in May 1997 and on June 1-15, 1996.Collected by S.Trojan and Michal Hoskovec
