Mallosia galinae, a rare species occuring in Azerbaijan and Georgia, has been described from Azerbaijan by Mikhail Danilevsky in 1990 [▽].
Body length: 16 - 40 mm Life cycle: 1 year Adults in: May - June Host plant: Ferula spp. and Prangos ferulacea [❖] Distribution: Azerbaijan, Georgia
The living specimens were photographed on the host plant in Kasristskali (კასრისწყალი) village environs (NP Vashlovani, Tskaro district, Kakheti Region, Eastern Georgia) on May 28, 2018, and on May 12-14, 2016, respectively.Collected by M.Harnych and P.Jelínek
