Iberodorcadion ferdinandi, an endemic species occuring in Andalusia (South Spain), has been described from Granada province as Dorcadion Ferdinandi by Manuel Martínez de la Escalera y Pérez de Rozas in 1900 [❖]. Some interesting data about biology of the Iberodorcadion ferdinandi can be found in paper by Alberto del Saz Fucho from 2013 [▿]
Body length: 12 - 13 mm Life cycle: 1 - 2 years Adults in: April - June Host plant: roots of grasses - Poaceae, Juncaceae (Ampelodesmos sp., Dactylis sp., Juncus acutus, Phalaris canariensis, Poa sp., Stipa sp., etc.) Distribution: Almería and Granada provinces (Andalusia, Spain)
