Dorcadion tianshanskii radkevitshi was originally described as Compsodorcadion globithorax radkevitshi from Kurday pass
(Қордай, Zailiiski Alatau, Zhambyl Province, Kazakhstan) by Georgy Leonidovitsch Suvorov in 1910 [❖]. The present taxon (tianshanskii radkevitshi) was restored
and estabilished by Mikhail Danilevsky in 1996 [✧].
