Dorcadion danczenkoi, a Transcaucasian species occuring in Azerbaidjan and North-West Iran, has been described from Talysh Mts. (Azerbaidjan) as Dorcadion (Pedestredorcadion) cinerarium danczenkoi by Mikhail L. Danilevsky in 1996 [❖]. Into species rank it was raised by Mikhail L. Danilevsky et al. in 2005 [✳].
