Dorcadion (Cribridorcadion) cinerarium, described from South Russia as Lamia cineraria by Johann Christian Fabricius in 1787 [❖], is one of the most common and widely distributed species of the genus, occupying the territories of the whole Ukraine and Moldova, as well as south of Russia and north-east Azerbaijan. D. cinerarium is not only one of the first described Dorcadions but is also probably a longhorn beetle with the largest number of known subspecies. One of the twenty subspecies (spring 2021), a subspecies endemic to Crimea, is D. cinerarium perroudi described as Dorcadion sericatum v. Perroudi by Maurice Pic in 1942 [✧]. A complex and detail revision of taxon cinerarium by Maxim Lazarev was published in 2011 [▽].
