Deroplia albida is a nocturnal species endemic to Canary Islands. The species is oligophagous on various Euphorbia plants (e.g. Euphorbia aphyla, Euphorbia regis-jubae).

The mounted specimens were reared from larvae feeding in Euphorbia regis-jubae stems found in Los Cristianos environs (150 m a.s.l., Tenerife, Canary Islands) on June 29 - July 2, 2019. The depicted living beetles were collected in Tamaimo NE Puerto de Santiago (Tenerife, Canary Islands).Collected by David Navrátil and Petr Jelínek
