Delagrangeus angustissimus troodi, occuring in South-East Mediterranean , has been described from Mount Olympus (Troödos Mts., Cyprus) by Gianfranco Sama in 1994 [✧]. Larvae of this interesting taxon develop in dying or dead branches of Cupressaceae (Juniperus, Cupressus, Thuja).

Adults in:	June - August
Host plant:	Cupressaceae (Juniperus, Cupressus, Thuja)
Distribution:	Cyprus, Lebanon

The depicted beetles were reared from larvae found in a dead branch of foetid juniper (Juniperus foetidissima) in the summit part of Mount Olympus (1830 m a.s.l., N34°55′41″ E32°52′19″, Troödos Mts., Cyprus) in April 14, 2008.
