Conizonia detrita, a remarkable species known from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, has been described as Saperda detrita from "Barbaria" (NW African coast) by Johann Christian Fabricius in 1793 [❖].

Depicted male was captured in El Feidja National Park (Khroumiria region, Jendouba governorate, NW Tunisia) on May 23-24, 2007.
