Conizonia anularis has been described by Carolus Holzschuh [❖] from Hakkari environs (SE Turkey) in 1984. Hüseyin Özdikmen put this species into by him newly estabilished subgenus Conizonioides in 2015 [✧].
Body length: 14 - 17 mm Life cycle: 1 year Adults in: May - July Host plant: undetermined thistles (Asteraceae) Distribution: Turkey, Iran
The depicted beetles were captured in Līkbīn (لكبن) village environs (1630-2125 m a.s.l., Lajan district, Piranshahr county, Āzarbāyjān-e Gharbī province, Iran) on June 1-2, 2017 and June 3, 2018. respectively.Collected by Tomáš Lengál, David Navrátil and Petr Jelínek
