Cerambyx multiplicatus, a occuring in Azerbaidjan and North Iran, has been described from Lenkoran environs (Azerbaidjan) by Victor Ivanovitsch Motschulsky in 1859 [❖]. Biology of this beetle is similar to the sister species, Cerambyx (Microcerambyx) scopolii Füssli, 1775. Adults, active from May to July, are diurnal and anthophilous (can be collected on blossoming shrubs and trees - e.g. Rubus, Crataegus, Sambuccus).
