Calchaenesthes pistacivora, an endemic Iranian species developing in twigs of Pistacia, was described by Carolus Holzschuh from Sirjan, SE Iran in 2003 [❖].
The species had been reported as a pest in Pistacia orchards in Iran [✧][▽]. Detail information about biology of this interesting beetle (...with many pictures) were published in
