The complicated taxonomic situation in Agapanthia osmanlis species cluster (comprising following taxa: Agapanthia osmanlis, Agapanthia ozdikmeni,
Agapanthia viti and Agapanthia naciyae) was solved by Pierpaolo Rapuzzi and Gianfranco Sama in 2012 [❖]. A comprehensive and detailed revision of the
entire taxonomically difficult subgenus Smaragdula by our colleague Karel Hodek was published in the summer of 2021 [▽].
